Randy had also served as a deacon, elder, and Sunday School teacher at Borderview Christian Church for over 25 years. He had received numerous masonic awards, degrees and titles. He has served on the national Policy Board of the National Funeral Directors Association, the Executive Board of Georgia Funeral Directors Association, and the Selected Independent Funeral Homes Educational Trust Board of Trustees.
Having taken an Army commission as a JAG officer, David would be discharged in September 1970 and would return to Elizabethton where he would serve as an assistant District Attorney under Attorney General Lewis May. David practiced law for over 50 years, primarily District Attorney and also as a defense attorney. David was very patriotic and had a deep love for his country.

He spent 10 years in the funeral industry at the funeral home level before transitioning to the creative side in 2020. Melding his two passions - graphic design and funeral service - Justin feels he has the right tools in his kit to help Heritage excel in our industry. This is the fee for the services the funeral home will provide during a graveside service. This is generally required if you will be needing any assistance from the staff for the service.

Pike II of Elizabethton, Tennessee, who passed away on December 16, 2022 at the age of 75.

Cory is originally from Bristol, TN, graduated from East Tennessee State University with a degree in accounting and currently resides in Johnson City, TN. He joined Heritage in March 2022 and is a member of the organization’s accounting team. Outside of work, Cory enjoys spending time with his friends and family, as well as exercise and traveling.

Needs to review the security of your connection before proceeding. Terry Lyons made my funeral arrangements several years ago at my request. I have decided not to use the homemade casket he made. It was made several years ago and has deteriorated due to dust and storage. I don’t want anyone to have to deal with getting it cleaned and delivered to funeral home. Also, I witnessed a homemade casket used by a family member a few months ago for and it went terribly wrong.
She was the go-to for a pep talk, a cheerleader for achievements and the voice of reason in the midst of pain or troubles. Though she herself went through so much pain but emotionally and physically, Sherry always found time for what really mattered the most, family and family was her friends as well. She believed that everyone should be treated with kindness and respect which is exactly what she did. Funeral homes curate a final ceremony that provides space for guests to begin the journey through grief together. This expertise contributes to a meaningful funeral service that gives mourners a chance to say their last farewells. After graduating from Elizabethton High School in 1959, David would move on to nearby East Tennessee State University, which would be followed by law school at the University of Tennessee where he would graduate in 1966.
He also is active in his church, Grace Fellowship, in Kingsport, TN. We officially became Heritage Operating, LLC Funeral Services in 1991, and continued to bring other funeral homes into the association. In April of 1993, we opened a crematory at Oakley-Cook Funeral Home in Bristol, TN, and in 1995 added divisions that provide our client families with a wide array of choices in cemetery monuments and burial vaults. This is the fee for the services the funeral home will provide during a visitation or viewing. This is generally required if you would like to hold a viewing and visitation at the funeral home or if you will be needing any assistance from the staff.
I will never say in words what their service, advice, cooperation, and caring shown to me and my family. I sincerely appreciate everything they have done to make this time in my life a time of being able to endure the task ahead and know my brother received the best care possible. May God Bless their work and family as they assist others during their time of grief.
We employed the services of Tetrick's Bluff City chapel for my grandmother's service. The funeral director tasked with arranging the service was short with us and seemed disinterested in providing any actual help. Both me and my family were all displeased with the treatment we received.
